I really like how most GM paints look when waxed. They look deep and wet an the metallic colors hide swirls better than a lot of other paints. Does anyone else agree?

I stopped by Pep Boys today trying to find ONR (and of course, they didn't have any) And found this: Yes, that is a real whisk broom, no different than what you clean your front porch with. What the heck?

I bought some tire shine today while looking for ONR, and after I got done using it, a quarter of the bottle was gone! Am I applying it too heavily? could someone give me a link for a how-to if it's on Autopia (I searched and couldn't find it.) Or is this just how tire shine is?

If I put meguiar's NXT over carnauba wax, would the NXT lose it's filling capabilities since it the carnauba would be between it and the paint? I like how the carnauba shines but i like how NXT fills swirls and lasts longer.

I bought Meguiars NXT 2.0 this morning and spent all day washing, claying, and waxing. The NXT was a breeze to apply, and I planned on 2-3 thin coats. On the first coat it was painfully hard to remove. Halfway through I was ready to give up and wash the car with some dawn soap to break it down...
