CCS Pad and Backing Plate Size.

Hi all. It’s been a long time since posting here. I have a UDM that I’ve had for at least 15 years. It hasn’t been used in years. I’m going to be using it shortly but all my pads have disintegrated. Looking for new CCS pads, I can’t find my size. My old pads measure exactly 4”. The backing plate measures 4 3/4”. Neither of these sizes exist any more. I have a larger backing plate that measures exactly 5”.
Is the 3” backing plate and 3 1/2” pad my only option now? I don’t want to use a larger than 4” pad for moderate polishing.

Thanks, Troy. I tried 5” before but on the UDM it did seem a bit under-powered, which is why I went with 4” pads. 4” pads don’t even exist any more on LC’s website. Guess I’m going for the 3 1/2.

Here are some and if you look at their descriptions some tell you what the pad size is and the backing plate needed as well.
