A buddy of mine just bought a new car. He got the dealer added paint protection. They told him he doesn't need to wax the car, or at least he shouldn't. What do you guys think? I figure what harm could it do? Even if it messes up the paint protection, he can just wash the car with dawn...

My mom had her deck treated with wolmans deck sealer last weekend. While it was being treated she had accidentally left the garage door open. Now her black Trans Am has little white spots all over it. It was waxed the day before with Meguiars wax. So far I have tried Meguiars paint cleaner...
