I am helping a friend wetsand/buff his car. It has many areas that my pad's will not fit. Any suggestions? as he has already sanded down the areas and hand polish doesn't seem to be working well.

I used a foam pad last week and I am not to sure on how you clean them of the wax, due to the fact the pad is a velco backed pad water would weaken the adhesive, is there a specific method I should follow??
