Will one mode or the other yield different results? I know the forced rotation can be more aggressive, but is the RO mode better for finishing?

Makita bo6040
- Bug and tar cleaner (twice)
- Clay bar (this took off more tar than the B&T remover)
- orange Pad w/Menz IP
- white pad w/Menz FPII
- Collinite 845
I was sprayed by a runaway tar truck, and decided an abused test spot...
I used autoglym with a white pad on my makita BO6040. Now my 8yr old widows are cleaner than I ever remember them, but now all the scratches that were already there are more noticeable. Its still a million times better than before though. Wipers wipe it clean and no leopard spots in the rain...
