Seems like it would make a great combination. The C4 bonds to the trim, darkening and protecting it from UV, then the Opti-Coat puts a thick barrier on top protecting it from physical wear.
I imagine after the C4 cures, the prep for Opti-Coat would not remove it since its bonding is permanent.
I did an experiment the last time I washed my daily driver.
I used the 303 Spray Detailer on the exterior windows because they said it can clean glass. I got no streaking if I buffed it dry which was nice.
But my experiment was to treat half of the inside windshield to see if it looked...
