I keep hearing about some cars having very hard paint - to the extenet that the PC is pretty much useless. My question is this - if the paint is so hard and the PC won't remove swirls, then how come the swirls get there in the first palce?

I am going to be using my PC on my wife's 4Runner (black) today. Can I use Meg #80 followed by the Sonus paintwork cleanser followed by NXT in the sun? I am going to try to get in the shade to apply the NXT but that may be difficult to do.

Has anyone ever heard of this stuff? The guy who details cars in my office building wants to use this on my Wife's 4Runner. Should I let him? I did a search and could not find anything about the stuff. Thanks for the help.
