My grill surround is aluminum. There are some scratches in it that I would like to buff out. I would need to use a buffing kit that fits to a drill. Searching the threads I found Eastwood polishing kit. Aluminum Polishing Kit 13 pc set Any thoughts?
I just bought the Flex with the CCS Orange, White and Red pads. Any suggestions for a swirl remover, polish, wax and microfiber towels? Am I leaving anything out? I apologize in advance for such a basic question on exterior detail. I was told to expect to spend some $$ when I found this Forum...
I'm new to the Forum. I was wondering if someone could direct me to a primer on pads. I am waiting for the arrival of a Flex. Until joining this Forum I always hand detailed. I always thought that these machines were only for the pros. There is probably a thread on pads. Thanks.

My first post so bear with me. Has anyone had experience with these two machines? It seems that the Ultimate PC would be preferable.
As an amature should I stay away from the rotory polishers? Or can you refer me to an existing thread?

Just stumbled on this Forum tonight. I have never been able to find a place where detailing has been discussed by so many amatures like myself. I'm impressed by how willing the profesionals are willing to give advice. I have refered my members at DaytonaRegistry.com - Home to visit.
