My wife rear ended a driver who was looking for an address and stop immediately upon seeing the house number.
Airbags deployed on the 02 VW Passatt and on the passenger side, the airbag cover smashed the windshield...really pulverized the glass...resulting in small shards of glass all over...
Looking for comments from anyone who has one of those cart-hose wheels. I passed on up last summer at Costco and have been thinking about it since. Are they worth the money?
Thanks,

My wife and I have been using Meg's APC+ around the house for some time now--love it to clean in the kitchen and great for spills on carpet.
She asked the other day if we could add bleach to the diluted APC+ in order to increase its ability to kill bacteria.
Any thoughts??:nixweiss
I have seen a couple of different brands of winter "deicing" wiper fluid at local stores. These products claim to remove light frost/ice and to not freeze on your windshield.
Do they work and more importantly, are these safe for my car's finish??
I had my in-laws in town staying with us. Over the weekend I was trimming trees and was not paying attention to what my father in law was doing. I had told him that I was going to drag the branches in the back yard AROUND the house to the driveway. He decided to help and decided to take a...
I purchased a Swiffer to clean the hardwood floors in my house. After going through several of the towels in a short period of time, I thought to myself--could I attach a MF towel to this thing? Having purchased a new package of Concordia MF's from Walmart for household cleaning, I put one on...
I will be moving into a new home in July and have a detached two car garage. Was thinking about buying a 5 or 10 lb fire extinguisher to keep in the garage.
Anyone else keep one for safety?

Went to my local Harley Davidson shop and walked up to the S100 display. At first, I did not see any jars of the paste wax. On the bottom shelf was one remaining jar. Asked the salesperson if they were getting more--said yes, but were not sure when. They said since the weather had gotten...
Just curious if any one has tried Stoner Fabprotex--Fabric and Carpert Protector?
Looking for a good fabric/carpet protector--was going to try 303--but it did not get very good results from the threads I have read here on it.
Thanks,

Had an bottle of Mother's Sealer and Glaze that's been in my closet for two years. Got it out and gave it a good shake--seemed to look okay--so I thought I would give it a try again. I washed and clayed my ruby red Alero. Didn't have the time to use my 3M SMR--so went ahead with the Mother's...
For those of you who are in the Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware area, Strauss Discount Auto stores now sell 303 Aerospace Protectant and the 303 Cleaner and Spot Remover. They want $4.99 for an 8oz bottle of protectant and $8.99 for the 16oz. The cleaner and spot remover is $5.99.

Anyone familiar with Dura-Glo products. Friend sent me a link to the JC Whitney catalog and I found this below. The price is 13.95, so I thought that was pretty good.
MIRACLE CLAY

The perfect cleaner to use before you wax or polish.

Was a cold rainy day and my wife dragged me to the mall--hey, it's nearly spring--can I get a darn nice day to wash and wax!
Anyway, she wanted to go to a new store called Organized Living. I headed straight to a sign stating "garage/storage". The place had all sorts of neat storage bins...
Was walking around the tool department at Sears and came across a few of their creeper seats. Had one for $20.00 that looks like it would be nice for polishing/waxing lower panels, fenders, etc.
Anyone use one of these? I just may have to add it to my Spring shopping list!:p
As I have been living in an apartment and detailing in their parking lot, I have not concerned myself with the staining issues of some tire dressings. I will be moving into a new house in a couple of months, so I was wondering if 303 Protectant or Vinylex stain concrete or blacktop.
Thanks...
