    wetsanding problems

    i wetsanded wth 1500 very lightly on and around a spot that a touched up, i then used polishing compound, then meguiars Scratch X followed by meguiars wax.... the surface still looks dull compared to the other surfaces on my car.... did i do something wrong... what can i do!??! :scared:

    i have a 99 grand am se with silver paint , it had a few small roadchips i wanted to clean up. So i preped, applied the touch-up paint until it was raised over the sourrounding paint then i panded with 1200 grit paper, i then used meguiars scratch-x to remove the scratches then waxed it, now...
