can i use AIO as a polish then top it with FMJ?

I see that Meguirs #7 advertised as a polish and as a glaze. Which one is it? Also, will it remove old layers of wax?

just picked up these 2 products for the first time. my question is should i apply these to the entire vehicle then remove or should i do 1 section at a time? not sure if these products should sit for a while or if they need to be buffed off quickly.
