    Gyeon evo MOHS.

I really enjoy using Mohs EVO. It's the easiest to apply by far in my experience. For me, the rapid flash time makes it faster for me to apply than a slower flashing coating. While I might do a smaller area at a time, the fact it's nearly wipe on/wipe off means I can rapidly work my way...

    PANEL WIPES

I'm a fan of Eraser. I've used Gyeon Prep and the old Blackfire one, but found Eraser to have better cleaning ability. Prep seemed to have better lubrication, but Eraser seems to remove polishing oils better. When I used to use polishes that were more oily, I could see a bit of an oily sheen...

Sonax PNS and BSD are discontinued in Canada :( (EDIT- now they saying just BSD is discontinued!)

It's still showing on their corporate US site and can still be found in retail locations, so let's hope it will stick around.

    BOSS BEST IN SHOW SYSYEM

I actually applied some to two cars last week! My daughter and son-in-law were wanting something they could apply to their cars that was really easy to apply, durable, and behaved like a coating. The one spray sealant I knew for sure would probably work for them was PNS.

    Best ceramic coating bar none?

While I have used several coatings myself, I'm not a pro and don't have access to pro-level products, so I'll leave recommendations of a product to those guys. One thing I would caution is regarding your comment about "great abrasion protection". This will be minimal at best for any coating...

    WeatherTech Mats Clean and Dress

I might have to try the Koch Chemie product. Right now I use Blackfire's Mat Cleaner and Protectant and I'm not totally happy with it. It does a pretty good job as an AIO-like product, but It doesn't give the a like-new look (or at least freshy dressed) like you see in the pictures above. I...

Seeking wet, molten glass coating recommendation.

I think this comes down to how much you want to spend and how much time and effort you want to put in it. Since the car is new and good shape you could do a one-step polish that would remove any swirls from the factory/dealership and leave you with a really nice finish. If you are wanting to...

    BOSS BEST IN SHOW SYSYEM

Add me to the list of Griots BOSS fans. I have a G15 and a G8 polishers and really like them. I started down the detailing road with an old HF polisher which was fine, but looking back I wish I would have started with a better polisher like whatever Griots equivalent was to the G9, back then...

Seeking wet, molten glass coating recommendation.

From a practicality and simplicity point, I'd stick with one coating. The layers are microscopically thin and the top layer is typically the one that affects the appearance. Of the handful of coatings I've used, I found Gyeon's to look the best. Their Pure EVO tends to have a more wax-like...

    Porsche 911 makeover!

That's a tow loop to be used any time you need to drag the car from the front, even if it simply putting it on a tow truck after a mechanical failure. Depending on the track and the event organizers, some places mandate tow hooks/loops be in place even for an HPDE (i.e. track day). Since...

Are you getting used to this new format/software in this forum?

I haven't tried since the platform change, but for a long time it was the only way I was able to upload photos to the forums. I have it on my phone only for that purpose.

What pad for the extra fine polishing step?

Thanks. The car was previously coated and I'll be coating it again after I'm done. In case anyone is following along, I ended up getting some LC Black HDO pads. I got a lot of great recommendations here, but last week Detailed Image was running a sale on pads. After the sale price, a coupon...

Really strange. My posts and treads have popped up instantly just like they did on the old platform. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.

    Windshield Wiper Maintenance

This is a good point. When traveling across the wooded parts of Missouri and Oklahoma, or the cornfields of Illinois at night in the summer the number of bugs encountered are staggering. Everything from clouds of small critters that will completly cover a windshield in pin-sized splatters...
