I was shopping this weekend and was wondering if anyone had any info on this pad. It is yellow like the CMA pad. The clerk at the detailing shop said it was cutting pad.
A couple of my friends and I were discussing which transmission type is more durable, Standard or Automatic? I tend to think that manuals are much more durable. Some of my friends think that today's computer controlled automatics are more durable. I know that there are many factors that would...
Some of you may have seen my other post about a car that had been that had been horribly neglected, as well as washed with hard green scurbies and orange clean. The car had swirls that were visible from 60 feet away (I am serious. I measured it). I have never used my PC before. I figured that...
This is a very neglected car. Most say to start out light with a #9 or SMR but I don't think those products will put a dent in these. I have a PC and a yellow pad...... maybe DACP? Machine Glaze?
Please help  .
Thanks guys.... I know someone will point me in the right...
I went to the local touchless car wash the other day because it is still too cold to wash the car and I couldn't handle looking at my filthy car anymore. They did an ok job on the exterior of my car but they put swirls in the plastic that covers the gauges. I looked at CMA and they have some...
I saw a bag of these towels in Target for 9.99 for 25. They say 100% cotton and made in the USA. I was just curious if anyone else has tried these? Are they good..... I know they are not MF good but I don't have the cash to invest in 25 MF towels to dry the car and my current terry's are...
Why would anyone use this crap. It says that it is made of "100% knitted polyester". It sort of resembles lambs wool. I tried it on a cd and it "swirled" the hell out of it. Sometimes you gotta wonder. :nixweiss
Alright the next nice day we have here I am going to detail my car. Here is my game plan:
1) Wash with dawn (I know the dawn isn't needed but it can't hurt either)
2) Clay the car.
3) Wash again (Not needed but.....)
4) Dry the car (I think this is pretty obvious)
5) Tape off...
Could be my technique. I was kinda in a considering it was damn cold outside and I don't have a garage :(. Also I didn't moisen that aplicator pad I was using (which was foam by the way). My roommate used the pad before I did and he machine washed it with detergent..... I let it soak in warm...
I used Meg's #26 on my Volkswagen and it left an uneven cloudy finish. I was reading over on vwenthusiast and the favorite seems to be blitz. I was just wondering what the concensus over here was? I was thinking of going with some p21s.... any thoughts?

Hi guys,
I just ordered a PC 7424 from Coastal Tools. Can't beat the price with the bonus kit. I also ordered a 5 inch velcro back plate to see what combo I like best. I am about to order some pads from CMA and I want to know which ones I should get. I still have some swirls in the paint I...
