I have used a DeWalt 849 at various speeds with yellow cutting pad & Perfect It II Compound. Didn't remove any scratches & made swirls, Any suggestions? Also how do you remove grime from vinyl in the interior before applying protectants? :nono

I have washed, clayed, washed, and used a DeWalt 849 & yellow cutting pad with Perfect IT II Compound to remove light scratches. At the highest speed which is 3000, it didn't remove any of the scratches. Any tips on scratches?:nixweiss

Need some help, I washed, clayed, washed, then polished with a PC and white polishing pad with Perfect IT II compound and the finish was shiny, but the feel was rough. It was smooth after I clayed it. Any solutions out there?:nixweiss
