WOW...nice results and easy to use!!!!! Had done my wifes 2002 indigo blue Golf a couple weeks ago with my PCXP and 4" pads and M105/205...Results were good but took forever!!!!! THe flex is much faster to cut...Used 6" yellow pad, 1-2 passes and got rid of the swirling in the areas i had...

1st time trying a rotary, lots of PC exeperience, wow, this makita 9227c is pulling everywhere...can't seem to control it at all...optimum compound, LC 6.5 in pad, LC 5" backing plate...it's almost like the backing plate is a little small as the pad is caving a bit in the middle causing more of...

My Makita 9227c just arrived...I'm waiting for my backing plates to arrive in another order...I noticed with the stock 7" wool bonnet when i fire the machine up on lower speeds (say speeds 1-4), there is quite a wobble...? The bonnet appears to be centered...I'm not holding it against a surface...

Well, I purchaed a pcxp the couple months ago and just don't find i have the patience for it to do its thing...I'm even using M105/205 and it does cut nicely with 4" pads but need to do lots of passes...I'm considering the Flex 3401 or should I just go to a rotary and put the time and effort...

I have an 05 Boxster with midnight blue (purplely/blackish) metallic paint...I purchased a PC XP with Optimum Polish and Optimum Compound...I also purchased the PC DVD and followed it to a tee...Suffice it to say I don't thik i removed any swirl marks and I ended up with some "zipper" like marks...

I ordered dr. color chip for some rash and chips on my hood...I have my hood sealed with several coats of zaino z2...what is the best and easiest way to prep the hood for dr. color chip so the paint will stick...?I'm a newbie so nothing to complicated please and thank-you...
