I own a 1991 celica and I bought some M105 compound just got it in today so i wash the car up with some dawn soap then clayed and used the compound with a griots DA 6" with their orange pad and the M105 didnt do a single thing to the car. Any ideas?

Every time I use my 6" DA i can get the wax or polish applied really well, but when it comes to wiping it off with a microfiber towel It is nearly impossible it dries on to were I have to scrub it off or It leaves awful streaks on my hood and trunk. Any solutions out there? Thanks
