Wax Haze

I washed and waxed the car this morn.
By 7:30A.M. I had wax on the car. S100
I waxed the whole car and and then
buffed it off with a brand new PAC M.F.
Acouple of hrs. later I noticed the hood was hazed. I wiped it off. The hazed
look came back. I used a previously
used applicator pad. I wasn't sure if
it had been used with UPP or S100
previously so I washed it with Dawn
before using. Could the pad have caused this?

S100 needs to be laid down in small squares, and then immediately buffed off. You cannot apply it to the entire car, then buff it off.

Listen to Nick on this one.

From the container's directions: For best results, do not wait for wax to fully haze over.

hmm thats what i thought too. for s100, you have to buff off before it hazes, and for nattys you buff off after it hazes...

Yeah, it's a bit of a weird concept because I'm just like you, once I get started applying, I just want to keep going. Pizzaz and Trade Secret let me do larger areas before buffing off.

Nick, how do you find pizzaz compare with TS, I went with your suggestion regarding TS, never regretted it one tiny bit, smells good and on second coat the darkening effect was apparent , love it :bigups .

In my opinion, Pizzaz isn't as wet at Trade Secret on most vehicles, but on silvers and champagnes, it is. It goes on a bit tougher, but buffs off just as easy (not as silky). The gloss left behind is awesome!!

I think it is ONLY $25 for a 16oz jar, which is huge compared to P21S (6.6oz), TS (8oz), and others.
