I want to know the +/- of using them...... Thanks in advance for any info. I havent tried the 8" yet but love the 6 1/2 megs pads so far, Only dont 1 car with the PC.

Which LC pads do you have? Also, what size backing plate and counterweight are you using with the 7424?

I use the 7.5" Curved Edge LC pads with my PC, 6" counterweight, and 6" backing plate. Love the shape of the pad, and it doesn't cause excessive vibration despite the larger size. smaller pads are a little easier to control, but I haven't found one with all the tapered edges and curves of the 7.5" LC pad. If you prefer a 6.5" pad, may I suggest the new Edge DA Durafoam line. The foam is very durable and easy to rinse clean. It also has an embedded velcro backing which makes it far less likely to delaminate.

I got the larger backing plate for the PC from Dwayne - works great with the 8" pads - if I need to be more precise then I go 6.5 but for application - ya can't beat it for speed
