Wax M/F Towels?

Trouble

New member
I am in the market for new m/f towels for wiping up wax residue and am trying to find one that doesn't lint, hopefully doesn't have edges and definitly NO TAGS

I thought to myself, 'what better place to ask for advice on this issue then Autopia-Forums'

Thank you for your time

PS Looking to buy in bulk for a deep discount

I was given a couple of the Poorboys towels (DMT I think) and they are very nice. I plan to pick up more soon.

I'm a fan of Pakshak towels and have most of the ones they offer. I think most of my towels are pakshak except for some gold cobra towels and several guzzlers

I use this MF Towel (16 x16). Its the softest, thickest plus it has no borders, tags or anything that will scratch the paint. I got it from a exotic car detail shop up north from me and I really love it.

The white edgeless from Microfibertech are great for waxes... Especially ones that haze. I think 10 are 23 bucks or around there. Their 530 are very nice and the same quality as the AG/Autopia ones just much much cheaper.

I like MF Tech also. Have you tried the Korean 4xx gsm towels? They are great as well for removing wax and are very high quality- but they do have borders of satin. The green 6xx gsm ones are great for waterless washes. The prices are very reasonable.

I use this type to make the initial wipe. Blue All Purpose Microfiber Towels

For the finish wipe or final buff I use these: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UFK9NM/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00]Amazon.com: MONSTER MICROFIBER EXTREME THICKNESS Microfiber Towel W/Black Silk Edges [16x16] (3 Pack): Automotive[/ame]

they are made by chemical guys and should be similar to the following:

Deluxe Jr. 600 Microfiber Towel 16 x 16 inches

Most come with a silk band sewn around the edge and tags but you should be able to tear them off easy as they are meant to be removed. Can't remember which set I bought that I actually had to use scissors to cut them off as they would not tear, I was able to cut close enough to the seam what was left was not noticeable.

The purple Autoality 450 g/m2 MFs look very nice. Pakshak makes very nice MFs. The "Big Boy" MF 530 g/m2 is a nice MF. Are there any reviews of the Uber MFs?

Well the 600 is a love hate relationship. I got like 12 of them, and couple of month ago PBMG got a new stock that is much better than the older one. The new ones dont lint and told up much better wash after wash.

For the cobras my favorite is 530s and gold 360s.
