BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal- BRAND NEW PRODUCT!

About. It's always hard to say. I have topped CS almost immediately with zero ill-benefit. That said, 30-1hr to be safe ;)

That is great! I know there are a few out there that seemed very concerned with how soon that can apply multiple coats. I will have to direct them to this thread.

Any more reveiws or comments on crystal seal?

I took advantage of Atopias awesome sale and needed to order another product to bump up the total to get my free shipping and crystal seal was my pick.

Cant wait to try it!

I never would have bought something so expensive but if I calculated right ,the 4 ounce bottle is only 45 cents per car application !

Anyone applied this outdoors in wind or sun? Those are my main concerns as I am mobile but sometimes I am able to work in a garage.

Would overnight dew cause spotting if I applied it late afternoon and the car sat outside?

The stuff is killer. I've applied in the sun, I've applied it with rain two hours afterwords, and I've applied in the shade, no difference anywhere. Use a little bit maybe 2 spritzers on the entire hood and then just move it around with MF.. What I like is it flashes off and you can actually see where you been. 2 coats an hour apart is amazing

Does this mean you will FINALLY do a product review!?

Even though this is a "slightly older" thread I'm intrigued at how simple and easy it is to use. BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal seems to be one product that seemed to have slipped by me....:lol2:

BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal appears to be similar to two other products I currently use; Ultima Paint Guard Plus and Optimum Opti-Seal.

All three are clear sealants and are applied in the same manor. I wonder how they stack up against one another in durability?

As far as durability I'm not sure. But I can say that for me BFCS is easier to use than the other 2 listed. It has replaced BFWD for me....

replaced BFWD??? WOW!! I love this stuff too.

Well durability I can say that I applied BFCS on my wifes CRV in late May. Since then I have not touched the roof except a waterless wash about a month ago. Today when I went to work, I noticed some nice beading, so the protection is still there with all the dirt and crap. :rockon

I have this on the bed of my truck. It's easy to use and it's holding up well since I applied it a couple months ago.

I planed to test durability side by side with Ultima but I just haven't gotten around to working on it. I think it's easier to use than Ultima

How would this stand up as a winter sealant up north. Here in WV snow has been hit or miss. In November I plan to apply 2 coats of BFWD. But If BFCS is good enough why bother right...
