I need some suggestions on passing out flyers? Do some of you do this? If so, what do you put on them such prices, packages, etc. i need some help on this any comment appreciated. Thanks!!!! :dunno

Well I would put general information it what it is you do. How you do it. and give a call # to set up a appointment.. I don't know if I would put a price on it as it may scare some people off. But once they call you can get some more general info and price according to what they want done. Or go to their home or business and give them a actual estimate... this is just my 2 cents but I have gotten more business buy just listing info with out price, than with it. This way to you can offer more than just a complete detail.. Hope it helps

Thanks Jay, i was thinking not to put prices on flyers, but the info you just gave me helps out alot thanks again

I haven't ever had much of a response with flyers. The response has always been minimal. The best use of flyers I have found though is to put them where people will take them if they want them. Go down and talk to the manager at your local gas station, ask if you can put a lexan with your flyers in it on the poles. Do the same for tire shops, oil change places, anywhere car related. Make sure you go back and visit those managers often though. If a few weeks go by and they forget about you, they'l see the flyers and take them down. If the manager likes you, he'l be happy to leave them up there, I even have a few of them that restock the lexans for me. Do you feel referrals comming from this too?

A good flyer should answer the following questions:

1- Who? Your flyer should contain your business name, phone number, your name and location.

2- What? It should briefly outline your detailing services being offered, such as, Polish & Wax, Clean & Vacuum Interior, Clean Tires & Wheels, Clean Windows, etc.

3- When? It should identify, days open and hours available.

4- Where? It should clearly identify where the work will be performed. You could use a sub-title, such as, Cars Polished And Waxed...At Your Location.

5- Why? It should clearly identify the benefits a customer will realize by using your detailing service.

This is what my flyer looks like. It is also a mailer. The actual quality is much better. the pics are in color, just the results of a cheap scanner :dunno

No. I think as long as you treat your customers right and make sure they fully understand what you are capable of, I shouldn't have to. I use a quote sheet and on it I describe exactly what is to be done. Once they sign that, the only way to lose is to do a bad job. I love what I do and if I had a very dissatisfied customer then I would honor it then reevaluate my place in this business.
