Detailing Stare
Used the Wolfgang's Paint Enhancer and followed up with the Wolfgang's Sealant. Didn't have time to clay, will get to that in a month or so, but the paint was pretty clean, but yea, it does need clayed - was just too short on time last weekend.

It was pretty overcast so I didn't get too many shots, but here's a couple.

looks good but youre right the clay will make it look even better .. i never thought clay was a big deal but i did my truck with it and wow what a difference im sold on it

Thanks everyone. :) I told the dealer not to clean it up and they didn't. But somehow it's got lots of cobwebbing on it. When I get the time I will clay it and start over and take the PC and some SSR1 to it.

Great work with the wolfgang twins keeotee:headbang :mohawk .Thanks for the pics, not sure if someone has said this before, those pics posted are really inspirational, well for me at least, it makes me want to be able to produce the same kind of result everytime!all the time! .

To those who always post pics like Anthony,Nick,Boss...and those I didn't get to mention, thanks
:bigups :bigups :beer

ps: waiting impatiently for my UPP and Moose twin

Thanks everyone. :)

Thank you too circus1. That's quite a compliment you've paid me! Thank you. I'm just a novice though, so you can most certainly get such results if I can. I was actually disapointed with the pics myself, except maybe the hood shot because I got a higher angle on that one.

I'm dealing with a new car there too and good products - that combo makes me look good. The car has a lot of cobwebbing, so I'm really going to see if I've learned anything once I take my new pc to it. I have to do that with my truck too. So I'm going to get some before shots of the cobwebbing and then some after shots. If it turns out as I hope it will, then I will be very happy and feel that I've been able to put to good use what I've learned from others!

First congrats on the new car...looks like a Malibu with all those cool new folding seats and features:bigups

yes brand new cars are often worked on at the factory if the paint was not perfect when sprayed..ie Quality Control Dept. ...
you may need something stronger like SSR2 to remove them, but try SSR1 first and see what you have.

good luck with the new car:D

Thanks andriver and rabbi. :)

Thanks Steve. I wasn't aware of that. That makes me feel a little better because I was really confused about how it may have come about. I'll give the SSR1 a shot first and then go to the SSR2 as you suggest. Appreciate the info and advice. :)

Oh, yep - she's a Malibu - and she's the wife's!!

no problem Kee .....is it a maxx? they figured a lot of cool options with those malibus ...I looked at a couple for my mother before she got a minivan to haul my kids around:lmfao

No, we didn't like the looks of the maxx - too hatchback for us. But we were looking at the Imapala too and we liked the malibu better. The wife wanted more features than the cavalier had - cause my truck had more than the cav - now her car has more than my truck!! But she is happy now! :) And yea, this car does have a lot of nice features.

Sheez, she can even start this thing from the key fob. I actually have to get in my truck and use the key to start it - how old-fashioned is that!!
