There was some discussion on another forum about whether it was necessary to wash MF after every use.
It was directed towards drying towels, but I thought maybe it would be worth some discussion regarding any/all MF towels.
I happen to have lots of MF towels and I wash them after every use.

I evidently haven't worded the question correctly. What I was trying to ask was how many times you used the MF towels before you washed them. I didn't think anyone was washing just one or two towels at a time.

I wash MF towels after every detail. The machine is situated between the house and the garage so I walk by and drop them in when the detail is completed.

And then your wife washes them for you, right? :bigups

One option that isn't there that I use - I wash them when I get enough up to make a load. If they are extremely dirty, I will pre-rinse them, but other than that = 1 use and tossed in the bin till wash time.

Maybe I needed to make it a little more clear in what I was asking.
It was intended to ask the question as to whether you used them multiple times before washing them, not when you washed them in relationship to when you used them.
Chances are that most of us will wait for a load rather than wash a very few at a time.
I don't know if I can edit the poll to say that or not.

I made a change or two. Hopefully I didn't screw the whole thing up. If I did, it can always be removed.

I have a little bucket in the garage where I keep the MF towels after one use ,when there is enough to make a load,I wash them.

I wash all of my MF towels after every use -- like after polish, clay, windows, wax removal etc. I have plenty of towels to wait until I get a full load for the washer.

I do not wash my WW after every use though, I see no point as long as the car and towel remain clean. If it does show signs of dirt or I'll put it in the wash pile.

I wash after each use, and I agree with bud man, my drying towels, can go longer. I occaisonally just put them in the dryer to get the moisture out

Why do I get the impression that the last choice is a secret campaign Charles?

Just kidding!!!!

If I work on two car in a week end then they are washed at the end of the weekend....Sunday evening and mine are in the washer right now...during the week..I wait until I have a small load worths...I have enough MFT to last two full details and two or better S&W cars

Beemerboy: Hey, It isn't a secret at all. Spread the word. :D
Oooooo! Looks like Charles is getting' sum towels!!
Big Leegr: Actually, it isn't working too well just yet.

Disclaimer
As everyone has figured out, it was meant as a joke.
I don't need any more MF towels.

FWIW, I have been given some very nice MF towels over the years and I do appreciate that. I just don't happen to need any more.

Off topic, but... A few years back, I was given at least 15 Meguiar's yellow foam applicators by a person that only used them once and the disposed of them rather than wash them and use them over. What was really neat, they washed them before they sent them to me and they were just like new. :)

I use them once before washing but like Mr.Pointer I wait until I have enough to make the effort worth my while.:passout:

I wash after my microfiber hamper gets full of dirty MF. But what I would really like to know is how many of you wash in a front loader vs. a top loader. I have read that the front loaders do a much better job in washing fabrics vs. the top loaders. They also use a lot less water, but you can't really soak like you can in a front loader.

I wash all my microfiber after each use. Except for my WW drying towels. If they look clean (and they should) after I use them then I've been known to wait until I have a load of towels ready to clean before I wash the drying towels. So, they often get used twice before washing. I do have two of them though so I rotate which one I'm using.

I do my towels when I have enough for a load. That's usually every other week. Most of them are DMT's from S&W. I throw my WW drying towels in at that time. My microfiber chenille wash mitts go in then to I use 2 clean ones for every wash. Seperately from those towels I do my work towels which I use to clean my wheels with daily. I hate the Mercedes brake dust!!
