Officers down in Dallas

That didn`t really answer the question. I was referring to the volume of gang members/problem in Canada as that makes up a HUGE portion of gun homicides in the U.S.

I`ve said it before, but people intent on killing will do so by whatever means possible. Say hypothetically no one except law enforcement had guns, then they`d resort to bomb making which would be much worse. Picture this tragic event and Orlando all being carried out by a bomb instead of a gun. The amount of destruction would be much greater and we`d all be shouting we need tighter bomb regulations. The problem is you can make bombs from every day items and read on the internet how to do so, so you`re just going from one form of destruction to another. You`ll never stop things like these happening no matter what you do, but I believe if people could put race aside and stop the ignorance, which is how many of these people are raised, you`d get much greater results than simply trying to ban firearms as a bandaid and not a cure.
Maybe there should be a firearm debate thread so these types of incidents can focus on those who lost their lives and not a heated argument on who is right or wrong.

Cain killed Abel with a rock.... It isn`t a gun problem it is a heart problem.

This is a heart problem, it`s also a Church problem, and a lack of Jesus problem. Until Jesus returns, there will always be birthing pains. America is not God`s nation, Israel is, but America was founded on Christian beliefs. If we take the actual meaning of the word Christian, it means to follow Christ and all of His teachings. All of these unfortunate events are simply an effect of sin. But there is hope.

“Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope,”
``1 Timothy‬ `1:1‬ `ESV‬‬

Taking away guns will do nothing. Pointing a finger will do nothing. Yelling the loudest will do nothing. Celebrity endorsements will do nothing. Killing Police Officers will do nothing. Rallying will do nothing. Jesus will do everything, only the Eternal Truth will bring change.

spot on. they have no problem wiping people out over in the middle east.

according to the msm and blm cops are just going around killing people top, so can we trust them with guns?

You cant have a knee jerk reaction to this and say take away guns because guns are the problem. This has been a systematic division by our commander in chief, this is an intentional escalation. If you look at the moving parts, one being our debt, if you have 10% of the inclination that the doomsday preppers have that the dollar will crash and there will be something that replaces it, but it cant happen until citizens are disarmed, if you take that with any kind of possibility then this makes more sense what is happening. We are being turned on eachother intentionally. Its not the guns, actually, as a matter of fact, now is the time to lock and load and buy everything they will sell you.

This was copied from another message board.

"Mayor Kasim Reed arrived in the middle of the most contentious area of the protest to cheers from the crowd. He spoke to the news briefly. He said he wanted everyone to get home safely, but he was going to respect their 1st amendment rights to protest. When he was asked about the Piedmont Park hanging (likely suicide), he addressed it directly and told people that he "respectfully knew more than them" about the situation. When he was asked about the Atlanta PD, he said that they had 1.6 million interactions last year and discharged their weapons NINE times and that the racial makeup of the force mirrored Atlanta`s population. When asked about other police departments around the country, he said he was just working on Atlanta right now."

Pretty amazing statistic if you ask me. 9 times out of 1.6 million interactions!

9 out of 1.6m. That`s very low. And how many were questionable in nature or intent?

Bottom line, despite the recent holy publicized incidents that might`ve involved bad cops(and there are some, like any profession) or bad decisions by good cops, I firmly believe that by and large cops do far more good than harm. These individuals that may have exercised bad judgement or acted on bad intentions should be held accountable but I`m tired of the generalizations about cops. And this idea of declaring war on cops is just madness.

For an industrial country, America is extremely violent. There are many inequities and some based upon race.

I do not think the focus should be on guns but the aspects that drive the hate. It is to the point where some try to want hating, calling people names (Trump classic example) and broad generalizations, is a positive virtue. I hear "I cannot hate openly due to all this political correctness". Of course, I made a broad generalization.

A good economy that works for more is the best start to me. There are many things to fix: trade deals, general tax reform, immigration reform to address the underground economy (hiring of illegals), consistent regulation, continued emphasis on working to get government help. etc. This will not be solved easily without a Congress that can work but all the special interests like the rigged system.

Look Ronkh I respect you a lot and dont want to trun this isnt an argument but are you serious or joking when you say it`s not a gun problem, because I think it`s very obvious one can not happen without the other, no?
.

World Trade Center 3000 dead, no gun
Boston Marathon Bombing - No Gun

Where there`s a will there`s a way

They are after our second amendment and going for a race war. Check into "crisis actors," more than one person has been seen at these different"tragedies" role playing different roles.
Look to "Russian visa" on yt. There`s a lot that doesn`t add up. Unbelievable...
