buy x get x sale

I placed an order on the Buy X, Get X sale. I think what you have written is exactly what the sale is intended to include. I read the fine print a couple of times and I think it's kind of a one or the other sale.

At the end of the day ACC still needs to make a buck, that's tough to do if you're to add both the sale and the CONNECT benefits into a promotion like this one. Dollar value wise I think you'll still come out significantly ahead with the Buy X, Get X sale assuming you use the products in the Get X part of the sale. That's the problem with the Connect membership, we've been spoiled. I rolled the dice on the sale, I'm a sucker for a surprise. I will miss the 3 day shipping.

I know that no one would wants to hear this and I'd be happy to be wrong as the party could continue without modification. If I were to speculate on the CONNECT Membership program, I don't think it was ever intended to be "stacked" with every promotion. I'm sure it's not a problem on a minor promo. If you remember there were kind of two releases on the program. It didn't initially take off with a boom and they went back to the drawing board taking the advice of the members and enhanced the program greatly. Seriously, they gave us just about everything we asked.

The 10% discount on top of price matching basically insured that there was in essence a sale on any product any time you wanted it. Double bonus points and free 3/day shipping were more than icing on the cake. I think somewhere early on a mistake happened that set a presidence for stacking promotions with the CONNECT membership on everything and ACC has been generous in allowing this to continue. That said, I believe it's a bit more than was designed into the scope of the program, especially with a sale like this.

I for one am good with allowing an asterisk (*) where it makes sense and would gladly buy CONNECT again with that being the understanding. I really hope that it is "IN STOCK" when my membership runs out. I don't speak for ACC on this but my gut tells me something like this happened, if I were permitted to see the actual margins on the products I'd know for sure.

Waiting now for Ray to step in and tell me I'm up in the night and this is a load of garbage, right after he fills my Buy X, Get X order with some really choice tidbits. ;)
 
Damn. Just ordered yesterday...trying to resist urge.

Only could use tools now.

Waiting on Poorboy's new releases soon.

All i can say is i was actually advised on an additional 10% discount code after my first or 2nd connect order (a discount code i would have never otherwise been aware of).

I thought that was pretty awesome of them.

I do agree...connect probably was a little different than what was intended. But it has also been the topic of discussion for a while now.

Now as to this sale..this is crazy good...you could buy a polisher kit and get a whole lot of free swag too. There was something large I intended to buy soon..but quite frankly I kind of feel like I'm taking advantage of this deal if I ordered now.
 
One thing I did notice with this sale is that there is no mention of free shipping after a certain amount.
 
For Connect members Gearhead is absolutely right, its a one or the other sale. You can place a normal order and take advantage of the Connect benefits...or you can place an order without your Connect benefits and take advantage of the Buy X Get X Sale.

Btw I will be personally overseeing all gifts matched to your order amount. So you will be receiving 100% Autopia gifts ;)
 
Also, theres no order minimum. Order $1000 in product and you'll receive another $1000 in free products.
 
Mannnn if this sale was.run a little over a month from now when I got some cash coming in I would seriously take advantage of it!
 
WOW, makes wanting to buy a new machine even more tempting, and who doesn't love a surprise gift. Damn you guys are either great at thinking this stuff up or do a lot research finding these types sales on other sites (guessing most every thing in life at this point has been done some where at some time its just whether we know about it or not)

See if you can buy a gift card and still get the free matched gifts.
You just can't use Connect when you redeem the gift card.

Edit: oops guess that wont work because your still spending money you dont have. But for someone that doesn't need anything yet.

that's precisely what I was considering doing... I could use another GC for the rupes nano when it comes out....and I would like some free mystery gifts but not sure how that works with shipping though... don't want to take too much advantage of a good deal
 
I called and asked and since Ray is out they don't know for sure about the gift cards (if they are excluded or not)

I asked them if someone could post up once that is determined

I personally am very tempted to go ahead and buy that paint thickness reader or rupes mini-but with the nano coming I'm not sure if I really need the mini as well (to heck with the dbl points if I get X in free gifts!!)
 
So, finally talked the wife into letting me blow some more money...

I'm assuming it's a typo, but the sale page says until 3/4/2016 Sunday...?:unsure:
 
WOW! Dunno. :wow: This appears to be a great sale, and cart is loaded ready to go. This would be my spring/summer order.
