Wow all grown up, I love huskies, my grandmother and aunt and uncle had one when I was a kid.

is it true huskies don't bark, they howl ?

This one hasn't howled since the first couple of nights. She just barks. (for now)

Ron- Seems like different breeds have different "best time to spay" schedules; with our Beaucerons the general guidline is to wait longer for both long-term health (esp. certain cancers) and general development (esp. head size).

Don't fret, I bet the whole thing was harder on you than it was on Tasha...Psyche didn't seem to know she'd been operated on (and at her more advanced age it was a bigger deal).

I'm trying to keep her quiet. She wants to be active. (me scared)

Heh heh, those irrepressible pups can be tough to keep settled! Eh, after this much time I think she knows what she oughta/ought not do. I mean, really...they hardly ever do something so nutty that they mess things up, they experience a bit of discomfort *way* before it really matters.

Is she stapled or stitched?

Stitched

Kinda figured, for a (relatively) minor incison like that. She'll be fine, dad :D Psyche never bothered hers despite rowdy rough housing with our male.

she keeps trying to get at em. so when she does, I put the cone of silence on her...

Huh, for some reason mine have hardly ever gone after them. But yeah, The Cone is good to have around.

Is yours clear or opaque? We switched to a clear one that they can see through and there was less bumping into things.
