Hey everyone, this is my first post... I'm a PC Technician, but detail cars once in a while on the side to earn some extra cash, which is all going towards my wedding in 8 months, haha... anyway, has anyone used the Meguiars Dual Action Polisher? Is it a good unit? I am getting tired of doing everything by hand, even though its safe... and am thinking about purchasing this polisher. Thanks guys!

If I am not mistaken I believe that the Megs DA is a Porter Cable 7424. It is a great product for people who have never used a machine on a car before, but want that look. All I can really say is buy! Shop around though for the best price.
Can anybody else confirm the Meg's and the PC being the same.

The Megs and the PC are obviously the same thing except for the fact that they get $225 and Dwayne here gets like $125 or $150 with a bunch of pads and free shipping. Gee- which one should I get?

Although I love the business..... if you are looking for the lowest price on a PC polisher there are places such as Lowes or even www.coastaltool.com that, due to there huge tool buying volume, are able to offer the polishers much cheaper than we can.
The advantage of buying from us is for the person that wants one stop shopping, free UPS Ground shipping, and personalized service.

Yep, Dwayne is right, there are other places to go to get the PC that are cheaper than Premium. As a matter of fact, I got my PC at Coastal! Then, I came back to Premium and ordered a half dozen of the Meguiar's pads, backing plate, and some "goodies" to put on the pads.
Hard to beat excellent products, competitive prices, free shipping over $75, and great service to boot!

Does it say Porter Cable on it anywhere or is it all Meg's I couldent really see the Difference between then Meg's and Regular PC. They should make a meg's Limited Edition Rotary with the Gold and Burgandy colors and paint with automotive laquer to make it nice and glossy.
