    Applying Second Coat of Wax

On Thursday I washed my car, clayed it, washed again, then put Black Hole Glaze, and then put EX-P on it.

On Friday, after 24 hours, I washed again and used Natty Paste Wax (Blue).

The plan was to wash again and put a coat of Natty Paste Wax (Red) on Saturday, however it rained Saturday even though when I checked there was no chance of rain.

So today (Sunday) I had to work, drove a total of 50 miles. My question is, tomorrow, or even Tuesday, is it ok for me to just wash the car and apply Natty Paste Wax (in Red)? I think it will be all right but just wanted to make sure. I`ve never put wax on without claying first.

I would say you`v already done enough coats, 3 is overkill of anything...IMO. Just sit back and enjoy your ride, wax it a month from now!

I agree with Cleanmycorolla. I would wait and enjoy your work lol. You can always top it again with Natty`s in a couple of weeks

What they said ^. Although if you want to add some gloss, I would wipe the car down with a waterless wash or quick detailer if it`s not too dirty.

There was a study ipon another site a few years ago that stated that anything greater then 2 coats did not add more protection to the paint.

    Red over blue looks INCREDIBLE

Do it and see for yourself if it makes a difference

Yes, it will be no problem at all. You can apply the wax without claying the vehicle.

Unless you are like some of us, well me, who has to work next to a body shop that puts paint in the air and your car gets covered with over spray

Pockets, do you have access to some decent polish and LSP? A polish with sealant, used as an AIO, would be ideal for your situation. Many brands to choose from.
