I heard that to polish the panel to remove it, then do anything that`s needed before reapplying it again.

I know the polish deal, but looking for a chem alternative as it`s hard to polish a chip....

The only way I know is to polish.
A very acidic solution might work as well. But I don`t want to test it. These coating are suppose to stand up to all the chemicals and such which it is why most say to polish.
You could do the touch up on the chip and apply the clear. Then polish it smooth and reapply CQUK. The chip doesn`t have any CQUK on it.
