    Meguiars white and black (Rant!)

I had the chance of trying these 2 little gems the past few days, and I am nothing less than impressed...

Both white and black went on smoothly, I love the fact they come in little toothpaste tubes which made it really easy to deal with. You do however, need to work it in a lot more if you`re doing it by hand. This isn`t your normal `wax on wax off` kind of wax, it does have polish in it so if you want to get maximum results it would be best to use it with a DA. I noticed after I buffed it off a lot of the fine scratches vanished, and then all I could see after that was crisp, clear reflections.

The White wax reminded me more of a cleaner wax. Although I didn`t really get a killer shine with it (which isn`t exactly easy getting on a white vehicle in the first place) but I was able to get rid of a lot of little scuff marks in the paint to give it more of a `white` appearance. Overall I was very pleased with this wax as well.

I am sorry I have no pictures, I just wanted to brag to everyone about what awesome waxes I have acquired
    Get your shine on!

I didnt even notice they made a white version. Very affordable, might have to give this a try.

I have the Black wax and yes, if you want the most potential out of what the polish has to offer you want to use a dual action or Random Orbital.

They should have marketed this as a cleaner wax. From the box and everything you`d think and expect it to be a finishing wax, but it`s not.

You MUST seal with a sealing wax. I`m a fan of synthetic sealants, NXT 2.0 is my choice for dark cars.

Good info. I didn`t read much into them and would have thought they were finishing waxes.

Yep, 85 MPH. Too bad the toll road prices keep rising. I just stick to the main highway....75MPH

So does the `black` have a ton of fillers? Sort of like a precleaner/filler wax?

I read a thread on here before that had some great information linked from the megs website and they`ve got some great visuals that compare the makeup of the two waxes. SP449 wrote the following:

Interesting read; pages 1 through 6 if you have the time.
