Tail Light Restoration

hey guys and gals,
I just picked up a kit from 3M to restore my headlight on my 02 Tahoe, they`re not too bad BTW.

I also need to restore my red tail lights, do you guys know if the 3M kit will also work on them?

If anyone has any other product that would work please share.

Call me stupid if Im wrong, but arent they both made out of the same plastic? I would think you could use the same kit. I guess wait to make sure about that though.

I believe they are but I wasn`t sure if there`s a difference in the plastic being clear or red, so I wanted to make sure.
