Question Car Pro Reload as a booster?

How does Reload perform as a booster for a conventional sealant or is it strictly for use on CQuartz (or as a standalone)? How is its slickness? Thanks.

Reload is a great product. It can be used over CQ, sealants, and even as a standalone spray sealant. It gives you the same properties that CQ and other coatings have but with a limited durability in comparison. The durability is very good for a spray on sealant. And the water beading is amazing when first applied. Because it is a "glass coating" variation it is slick. There may be a handful of QD`s or spray waxes that are slicker but I find it on par with my favorite FK 425.

CarPro Reload is one of those few products (for me) that have little-to-no drawbacks. I have never had an issue with streaking, buff off, or application. Durability seems very good (I have only used it on top of Collinite 845IW & Pinnacle Signature Series) and initial water beading is intense.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like you could use Reload like any booster product...could also apply a wax or sealant over it if you wish.

I would not apply a wax or sealant over top of Reload... If you do this you will nullify the water and dirt shedding abilities. Reload should be the LSP topper.

Troy- Yes, but whatever wax or sealant used to top Reload may also offer those characteristics (and protection)...just won`t last real long I suspect, plus you could always use more Reload. I`m always messing around .....topping the topper...lol.

Just use a short nap mf to buff off. I had streaking using long or thick nap mf towels
