    D301 Curing Time

    Just wondering, do you guys know what is D301`s curing time before i top it with another layer of wax? Thanks!

    I don`t know if there is any cure time on D301... But I would agree with you that you should top it with a wax for some more protection. If you are using a wax I would top it nearly immediately. I feel like the protection in D301 is not that great, but I haven`t tested it on its own. Hmmm... I may need to do that now just to find out.

    In our condition here where its hot and humid and raining, it lasted me 4 wks. Not much durability, but good enough for its purpose.

    IIRC, when I met with Jason Rose several years ago (maybe 2 years prior to the soft launch) they had just begun working on D301 (my memory may be failing me). He had mentioned that it could be wiped off and topped immediately. I will double check with him this weekend.

    That was my experience as well Todd. I polished it out, buffed it off, and topped it in about 10 minutes and had no issues.

    I spoke with Jason this weekend and he assured me it could be topped right away. D301 is one of the easiest products I have ever removed from paint. It wipes away in one pass with no pressure.
