    $1,000 Wax - Project J97

Recently I was looking through Chemical Guys products and noticed their $1,000 wax. Out of curiosity, has anyone used it? How does it compare to other high-ends such as Supernatural, Fuzion, or even Souveran? Can it really contain more than 60% Carnauba? It seems like I remember Mike Phillips once saying that about 30% carnauba is the max that a predict could chemically have without being rock hard. Any thoughts?

OK, I did not realize that someone else had inquired about this yesterday. Does not look like anyone has first hand experience, heh?

Zymol as one they sell for $2400.00 in Canada. The gimmick there is that they will refill your container for life.

    Zymol Vintage Glaze

Also Chemical Guys have another they retail for $275.00 how wonder how much better the $1000.00 wax will be.

These waxes strike me as a way of improving one bottom like rather than raising the bar. I would have to perform a design of experiments then do a controlled test carefully completing each step and recording their results.

Maybe someone would be kind enough to send me some and I promise to do a thorough test and comparison to my best waxes then you decide....

It`s a private label wax, only one pot exists, and you can only buy the application through them? A little sketchy if you ask me. Sounds like it`s time to call Swissvax and have Divine poured into a platinum can. Since the custom formula will be mine I`ll call it Dick`s Wax. I`ll leave the slogan up to you guys.

If I ever won the Mega Millions I would blow some cash on a really expensive wax like Zymol just to see what it is and why it costs so much. But I gotta say, with some of the feedback I have received from owners whose cars have FK1000p or 845 applied, 18 bucks buys pretty good protection.

I could quadruple the value of my Hyundai by just applying a coat of wax.

I only see it being worth it if it is applied by Taylor Swift & Scarlet Johannson in lingeree.
