    Candy coating

What LSP or combination of products do you use to create the shine of some sweet candy? I like the look of almost adding a second coat of clear. For me I like the look of a few layers of Ultima paint guard plus. Collinte 845 gives a similar look as well. What do you use for that look?

Most of the sealants will give you a candy look. Some like the look some don`t. I got some dodo hard candy and will see this summer what it does.

Meg UCwith a DA and then 3 coats of Ultima does it for me too....I still marvel every time I see my DD after a month or so. This rear qtr panel is about the best pic I have showing it, it looks deep and clear - like candy!

The Klasse twins produce a long-lasting candy finish on lighter colors like silver.

I`m gonna have to throw in another vote for the Klasse twins. Other sealants are shinny and wet looking, Klasse literally looks like a candy shell.

UPGP is the best I have seen on any color. I am a hardcore carnuba fan, but even I love the look of UPGP!

My favorite LSP is BFWD with two coats of DoDo Juice Hard Candy, what a deep wet glossy look

If its light colors I like Werkstat Acrylic prime and jett.. massive combo. If its on mid tones.. Dodo juice Banana Armour just makes the flakes pop!

I`m with glen e. Multiple coats of Ultima Paint Guard Plus really does the "candy trick" for my Blizzard White Pearl RAV4.

I`ll add my vote to those saying Klasse if you want a hard-candy coating look.

    Re: Candy coating

I will add. I have yet to find anything that produces the same Bright Candy Coating that the Klasse Twins do.

Last winter I had 3 layers on my wife`s car and multiple times see made the comments that when she looked at her car she was amazed at how bright and shiny it looked even though she new that she had driven it for over a week in the muck and grime. She stated that it seemed to glow thought the grime.

I guess I need to get the Klasse twins, or just the high shine I guess.

If you are going with the Klasse twins, be sure to research the forums on KHGSG. Applied improperly, it is a pita to remove. Done right, it can still be a bit finicky. Good looking lsp, though.
