You need a spray bottle like these. The larger ones spray too much product.

I think the Megs sprayers are the worst. All of mine spray way too much product

So the spray bottles that come with these are junk?

I purchased Opt spray wax this summer...err I meant to. I accidentally ordered Four Star spray wax. I gave it to my dad and plan on ordering Opt spray wax in the future.

I`ve always just used the 17 oz spray bottle I initially got - refilled it from the gallon.

If nothing else when you order the wax order it from OPT direct and Chris will hook you up with the appropriate spray bottle.

    Re: Optimum spray wax

Ive used OCW now for a couple of months on all the cars I detail and Im still loving it!

I had one dark colored car I used OCW in the blazing mid-day sun . Paint was very HOT to the touch and still no streaking or problems.

What Im doing is applying it with one MF towel in one hand and have another dry MF towel in my other hand directly behind it so it never even has a chance to dry or get streaky . I think I can wax a car in 5 minutes now!

The best part is I get done with my work early enough now to watch the sunset at the beach !!Thankyou OCW!!!!

Good to hear DC. Definately my favorite spray wax and I have nothing but great things to say about it. I am glad you are seeing good results with it also.

Thats great to hear DC. I have considered switching to OCW as my only wax. It`s that good. It is usually my choice for customer cars.

I spray the MF with the OCW first and set the bottle down.

I will take a picture and show you shortly how I do this!

    Re: Optimum spray wax

On my second gallon,it will streak on a hot black car. I use a thick towel like euro shag spray a quick mist on the towel, then start by a spray per panel, wipe second towel for second wipe. Lasts 3 months on most on my personal car washed with onr I got 4 almost 5 months

    Re: Optimum spray wax

Just did a black porche today around Noon in hot sun and no streaks .

The method Im using with the 2 towels flush together ( one with OCW,the other dry)moving in unison seems to be working great! Also I think the fastest possible way possible to apply.

Sal , I heard the thicker MF towels dont work as well and may cause some streaking .I think thats somewhere on this thread.

Almost 5 months for a spray wax is pretty amazing!
