I`ve gotta try that Opti seal. But first I must use up some of the stuff I have!

Tried some sealants and waxes, but due to the climate in my area i always come back to Carlack 68 NSC (Klasse AIO equivalent) as a base for its protection but not the looks (mine are dark colours) and now after trying BFWD i really want to sell all my sealants and waxes collection except Carlack 68 NSC (good for base and any other non porous surface - chrome, headlights, etc) and BFWD (i don`t bother to layer it with carnauba or anything since it looks good on its own!).

If i have to choose only one then BFWD for ease of application, removal, looks and slickness.

In early October I applied three coats of Finish Kare 1000p to our glacier blue CR-V. I have to say that I very impressed with this sealant. It was easy to apply and remove, and after a couple of days it took on a special look. Folks often describe the look as an extra layer of clearcoat--I think this is accurate.

The sealant is still going strong after two months, but I would expect that. I am hopeful it will take me through the winter.

I will still return to UPGP in the spring, as I love its ease of application; but I think I prefer 1000p`s look. I have not tried BFWD on this car, so I cannot compare.

1000p is also a great value.
