I go around the car with this after polishing to take care of any polish residues. Wax would be similar unless its stained some trim.

There is really no easy way to remove the stuff but you have a couple of options.
a) a little elbow grease and a mild cleaner
b) a strong solvent.
I really only use option a: Meguiar`s APC dilluted 4:1 and a terry cloth and q-tips. Also you can wash the car with APC, just dillute about 2 cap fulls to five gallons and it will help loosen the residue.
I will often throw it in a foam gun and foam up the car very well. Just my 2 cents.
Stoners Tarminator sprayed onto an MF, gently wipe.

..And as for the critics, tell me I don`t get it
Everybody can tell you how to do it, they never did it
I guess there are a plethora of options then. There are a few prep washes that can eliminate what IPA cannot, the Meg`s APC [which I use], KAIO in a few small areas, etc..
Everything works what everyone had wrote here, I like using Meg`s #34 Final Inspection with a microfiber towel so I won`t take off any LSP on the surface of the vehicle.
