What`s been your experience with longevity of BFWD?
    Hey there Bill,

I just applied Wet Diamond this past weekend
followed the instruction and Todd`s suggestions
I applied 2 coats with 14hrs. Apart on my work
van. And since I am I`m a Zaino diehard
I applied WD on 1/2 of my hood and other 1/2
is Z2 with no ZFX and only one coat.
It`s been 4 days now since the first coat and
it`s slick as it was on Saturday, the only
problem is that it looks like I`m driving a huge
dust magnet. You can clearly see less dust
on once side of the hood. But the shine is there and
so is the slickness on both products.
No rain here since the weekend.
Maybe you lost the slickness due to rain?

So which side is the dust magnet, zaino or WD?
opinion on either or is it too early to tell?
    interesting test...

The BFWD application that I`m referring to is on a 2006 Grand Prix that sits outside all the time. I wash it once a week and it rains twice a week. 100* sun every day.

So I`m not suprised it lost a little slickness over 2 or 3 weeks. Still shiny and still beads.

Long lasting is a hard question for me with car washing 4-6 times a week. I do use a competitors gloss enhancer while drying each and every time. I can attest the shine and slickness are always at there best. This said, I also try and seal 1 time every other week or sometimes every week. I am sure this is not a normal application routine for most but it sure has my vote in the ultra shine dept...
