Thanks UN - I never trust those mpg numbers, I`d rather just talk to someone that has one.

The tank? IF I could get one of those new Striker vehicles I`d feel sure that my "baby" would be ok, but not so sure about everyone else on the road! However, we have a farm and plenty of trails to drive on, it`s how I learned too. And that was on my Dad`s Buick - a 1966 Electra 225, talk about room!

In any event, I had a good chance to compare the finishes. Obviously the prep on wifey`s CR-V counts a lot, but the difference was pretty remarkable.

The best way to describe it, is that it was like looking at two pictures, one which was photoshopped to look better than the other. The way the sun was just gleaming of wifey`s ride was just astounding.

BF Wet Diamond will remain a permanent fixture in my arsenal.

    ZoomZoom,

As I said in my review, I really don`t have a dog in the "wax war" fights but LOVE when a product meets or beats expectations.

Frankly, I think I`m probably not smart enough to even understand the whole clone thing, but I am smart enough to know a great product when I see one. The guys at CMA have a winner on their hands. If that threatens some, so be it.

As I said... it`ll be a permanent part of my arsenal. In fact, I can foresee a bit of fire and ice in my future!!! LOL

Be careful, UN. Before long you`ll be buying all sorts of boutique waxes, and you will lose your proletarian status.

I would like to think that you only lose your proletarian status if you`re crazy enough to spend over $100 for a tub of wax. I personally wouldn`t go over $50. Luckily for me, Midnight Sun went on sale and I jumped at it!

That`s what you are saying now! Last year you wouldn`t have spent more than $25 for a wax. Now you are up to $50. Heaven knows what you`ll be willing to spend a year from now.

Actually, that`s been my ceiling since I starting getting into detailing 6 years ago. The most expensive waxes I own right now are Fuzion, Midnight Sun and Souveran. I recently bought Fuzion BOGO at $100 and I purchased Souveran BOGO at $69.99 about 5 years ago. :cornut:

    Zoomzoom,

I know you weren`t directing it at me and I know you know (better than most) the virtues of BF Wet Diamond, I guess I just don`t understand hating on a easy to use, high quality product.

Sometimes people are just ingrained to believe things have to be difficult to be good.
