Final update 2 weeks:
Rinsed the hood before washing, including flooding with the shower setting (best I can do).
The following pictures were taken over 35
seconds, heavy in the first 10 seconds. Mckees on left, passenger side. Megs on right, drivers side:
- The middle doesn’t sheet at all. CMX is dead to me.
- Mckees side sheets in about 30-35 seconds. Not good but better than the middle.
- Megs sheets off in about 15 seconds, but 80% gone in like 10 seconds.
That’s good enough for me to call Megs the mini-test winner at two weeks and guess that it would remain (noticeably better than the middle which is dead) for another 1-2 weeks.
Tonight I’ll polish off the horizontal panels and figure out a combo of tests with Ceramic Detailers and Ceramic Sprays. New thread coming soon.

Thanks, again for doing this testing. I really appreciate the insight and harsh weather testing.
