Re: MONSTER MASH - a crazy OEM wax mash-up

Well, now I know WHY you are called "Wax Addict". The end-product of this Monster Mash Wax (acronym WA-MMW) reminds me of the now-defunct (but still highly respected in its day) Meg`s M16.
One thing I did see is the carnauba flakes had a Grade TI (or TL?) on the bag. What does that mean in terms of quality of carnauba?? I guess seeing carnauba as a "flake"in its REAL production or useable state is counter-intuitive , since I think of wax as a "viscous solid", which is an oxymoronic term itself (like jumbo shrimp).
(Educational science tidbit: Glass falls into this class, as it is not REALLY a solid, but a very, very thick" liquid". Old glass panes will run or sag over time due to gravity, hence their distortion when looked through.MTYRWTK)
Yes, count me in for this give-away. I am still old-school who likes (prefers) to use carnauba waxes as an LSP.

Grade T1 is the highest grade of carnauba, and it`s what any car wax will be made of. There`s no sense in these wax producers bragging about "T1 grade pure Brazilian Carnauba" because that`s what everybody is using. T3 or T4 carnauba have higher impurities, are more acidic, and can vary greatly in color. Also, "white" carnauba, which is another buzz word, is simply bleached T1.
Caranuba flakes, as shown in my picture, is the most commonly supplied form, because the flakes are thin and melt easily. In block form, it would be as hard as a rock.

So ALL respondents have been entered into the random number generator for the give-away! Let`s put the cut-off time at midnight tonight (April 4), if anyone else wants added to the hat.
