Gyeon sale.. what do I need?

Been wanting to try out gyeon Moh 2 but don`t really know what I need for gyeon products. I know carpro has reload and a certain soap to wash with. Does gyeon have the equivalent? I have everything I need minus knowledge about what gyeon products to use.. Had opti coat 2.0 on the truck about a year ago, got ina wreck and need to redo the truck. Any help!?

Cure is like Reload in an SiO2 spray sealant.
Bathe is like Reset in terms of leaving nothing behind on the surface. I am not sure how well Bathe cleans compared to Reset.

Q2 Primer Polish is nice to use prior to laying down a coating. Has been working well with CanCoat on the car I used it on.

Re: Gyeon sale.. what do I need?

The descriptions on the product are so vague.. thanks Guz for the reply. What is Gyeon booster? Is that for added protection to coat the already coated paint (i.e. Putting it directly over Mohs at the time of coating) or is it seething to be used when the protection starts fading (say 6mo after initial coating?)

Todd covers Booster in this video. There are some other great additional videos on the Gyeon line covered by Esoteric.

Re: Gyeon sale.. what do I need?

Would do the prime topped with Mohs no topper. Then wash with bathe. Use iron maybe 3-4 months from now for Decon shouldn’t really need much other than that. The leather cleaner and coat is good as well

The larger silk dryer on sale is a good value right now if you like a larger drying towel

Yes the marketing is not the best that’s for sure as far as there own website goes and product info but Jeff has made videos and or articles for PMBG, DI etc. those seem to show the most real info about them why a person can’t put all that info in the same place is beyond me

Re: Gyeon sale.. what do I need?

Basically, once thru the polish/prep/decon step, once ready for coating:

    Gyeon Prep
Gyon Mohs Kit: The kit comes with Mohs, applicator block with microsuede cloths, little bottle of Cure and instructions (vague as they may be)

After care can be as simple as Gyeon Bathe with occasional topping with Cure. Add a little extra gloss and protection if you like by topping Mohs with CanCoat 12hrs after application of last coat of Mohs and then go over with Cure a few hours after that. Cure is a bit easier to use if cut 50/50 with distilled water. If`n you REALLY like crazy water behavior you can top the Mohs with flourine-based Gyeon Booster which (according to Gyeon Rep) gives you somewhat of a consumer-level of the Pro-Only Gyeon Durabead.

Recently saw that someone topped Prime with Mohs but have not heard much since initial mention a few weeks ago

It`s a nice looking, durable product, great for daily drivers. Have a fleet vehicle I applied it to in February 2017 and it`s still doing good despite never having been washed since. Left a bird bomb baking on the hood for 2 weeks this summer, came off and didn`t leave a mark. Rain storms clean it up pretty nicely.

This is a nice vid covering not only Mohs, but some general coating info:

Well I really didn`t need anything but thought I should take advantage of sale to try couple of things. Gyeon view, leather cleaner, leather coat, foam.

Have `em all, used `em all, like `em all. Coming outta the PF22 cannon, Foam works quite nice at 1:10 ratio.

Leather Shield is a really great product if you are looking for protection for leather seats. I`ve been very pleased with the durability and the application was easy.

For some reason it doesn`t seem to be listed in the Autopia store (at least I couldn`t find it), but here is the link to the product on AG...

If AG has it, then Autopia does too. Just call or drop a note in the comments box when you order.

Just asked Todd of Esoteric on his Prime video if one could top Mohs with Prime. To get the look of Mohs but the non-water spotting affect from Prime. His response was that he did not recommend it as they are different in their chemical make up and could potentially lead to bonding issues. Instead he recommended booster or cancoat over mohs.

I like cancoat. It`s working good on my mom`s car that I polished out with Gyeon Q2 primer polish.

I have mohs and booster lined up for my dad`s car.

Debating on picking up Prime to try it on something.

I`ll be interested to hear your thoughts on both points. Have had Booster for a while, just never a chance to use it.

    Have used Prime twice.
