    Another testament to CSL/EXO

The following is a cut and paste from the other site I made in response to a post.

I am a firm believer in the CSL/EXO combination. Due to circumstances and lately health problems I haven`t washed my car in over a month and it has been outside 24/7 for the last 3 weeks. I don`t drive a lot but have put maybe 500 miles on it in that time a couple times in the rain. Last nite we had a good thunder storm and it pretty much cleaned anything that was on it off (except the wheels and license plate area) and looked so good I took a couple pictures of it.

My car is coated with CSL/EXO I have WG Uber coating on my trim and wheels with Polish Angel Kristal/Rain on my windshield and GTech G1 on my rear glass.

Unless you zoomed in on the wheels or license plate area you can not tell it wasn`t just washed

Agreed. CSL/Exo is probably the best OTC coating out there imo.

On another note. How do you like the S5? My wife really wants a A5 but I have never had a foreign car before and I`m a little bit cautious about buying one. I know I can do the oil/brakes but if something goes wrong I hate to see that dealer bill! She wants a 2013 or newer. Any advice?

It is my 1st non American brand car also. I love it and just have a couple things I don`t, mainly getting in and out because of the side bolsters of the seat and the programing shifting/throttle response (not aggressive enough in comfort/auto mode and too aggressive in sport since it holds gears too long with light throttle and never goes into high at any speed at least under 100).

Thanks Ron, it is not that I don`t feel well or the fact 10 days ago I had a heart attack it is I collapsed twice once on my front steps getting into the house and 2nd time in the urgent care waiting room trying to take a seat. I hurt my knee and right side to where it is painful to do much even breathe of walk/stand.

Wha??? Whoa. And you went to urgent care instead of calling an ambulance? I`m with Ron on this one - be careful and take care of yourself pretty please!

And yeah CSL/EXO is amazing combo. I have it on my own DD too.

It was better or worse that you think. The symptoms I had were identical and quite common to me other than the passing out part. I suffer from anxiety and the attacks feel exactly the same and have had them for over 40 years. I never considered it as a heart condition even when I had my brother take me to the hospital a few hours after but the symptoms were still there and never lasted that long which is why I did go in.

While I am a high risk person since I am an old fat smoker with diabetes and a family history on my fathers side of heart troubles I do not have the normal trouble signs like high blood pressure or cholesterol both of which have been pretty good and have good control of my blood sugar (for you diabetics my last a1c was 5.5). Also my weight is getting better also a year ago I had gotten up to 265 and now I am just under 210 and hope by the end of the year to be 180 or less and to quit smoking by then.

With hx of diabetes - heart attacks don`t have "normal symptoms" Usually called "silent mi".

As I said, please be careful. But I gather they saw everything they needed to when the stents were placed.

Ancient_1, hope you feel and get better soon!

For quitting smoking, you might look into vaping (ecigs). Helped me kick a can-a-day Cope habit about 3 years ago, and I haven`t looked back since. A lot of my smoker friends have used it to successfully quit as well. Lung function and most other things improved dramatically in a very short time. I can give you recommendations on equipment, etc. if you think this is something that might work.
