All in one for a cheaper job?

Well I got some in laws coming back to Palm Springs this fall. last year I detailed their van. it was my first job for a customer. they paid $80 for the exterior but I went with 105,205, wax. now I know it should be about $175 or higher for that level. I usually don`t cater to cheapskates but they aren`t too cheap and I get other customers who want washes and waxes by seeing me work around the complex. Also they are very happy with the work and can bring me more customers (who will pay full price) I`m looking for an all in one that`s good with a dual action. All they want is the van shiny, not every scratch removed but you get the picture. I`m thinking about $80 for a one step polish.

Edit: They bought a new van an they will bring it this year. Here`s a pic of last year of their old van. I went all out because I don`t usually get customers who want it polished.

Also I charge $75 extra to shampoo the carpets and seats, give it about 3 passes. Seems good to me but not sure if I`m short-changing myself...

blackfire TPS ... it works down to NOTHING - or almost nothing

or my #1 AIO - Poorboy`s Polish w/Sealant (sun friendly too) and wipes off so ridiculously easy even if you do the entire vehicle and then wipe it off

Thanks, I`ll have to try that. I might still top it with a sealant for durability. I got a half gallon of synthetic 2.0 think that would be good?

If you want to stick with Meguiar`s, D151 is always an option. White wax is pretty potent. Same abrasive load as M101. Top it with D156 and you`re done. Did my uncles can with that combo and it did very well.

I`ve had great results with HD Speed, can`t go wrong with it. I`ve gotten surprising levels of correction with it as well when paired with a cutting pad. Recently started using polish with sealant again and will need to get a feel for which one I like mre

If it`s a brand new van, it may not have many swirls, or it might have many swirls. BlackFire` AIO leaves a nice shine and doesn`t have much cut. Hd Speed, I believe, has just a tiny bit more cut. Wouldn`t hurt to have both.

Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!

I read quite a few about HD Speed, so I am considering it or BFTPS to do one steps... Which would be better in this case? (sorry to semi threadjack)

Re: All in one for a cheaper job?

Haven`t tried the Blackfire, but HD Speed works so well for me at what I want it to do that I couldn`t care less to try anything different. Cuts well for an AIO if you need it to, no effort at all to wipe down, and looks great
