Re: Recommend a Good Carnauba Spray Wax: Gallon Size

In my opinion, a spray wax with carnauba wouldn`t be as effective as these two especially 156. Like TheMeanGreen said, 156 works for me on everything, trim, seals, leather, glass (do a test spot first of course). If carnauba is a deal breaker, Pinnacle is the best I`ve used, but it isn`t as easy to use or effective as 156 to me.

The Blackfire Midnight Sun would be my vote out of the ones mentioned. It`s easy to use, looks great, beads really well. I reach for it over the Pinnacle everytime. Only the PA Rapidwaxx is better as far a containing carnauba. The trifecta looks great and lasts well but as mentioned is synthetic.

Re: Recommend a Good Carnauba Spray Wax: Gallon Size

I have D156, and use it on almost every detail in some capacity.
In regards to protection, I love it.
It makes my follow up maintenance details much easier, especially in wheel wells.
In regards to appearance on exterior panels, not so much.
It seems to dull the shine, gloss, and reflection.

I also have a couple other professional grade spray waxes in gallon size.

I am interested in a carnauba based spray wax because I have tried a couple off the shelf carnauba spray waxes, and they just offer a superior shine and reflection.
So, I am impressed enough to want a gallon size.
Only, the off the shelf products I have used do not offer gallon sizes of their carnauba spray wax.

As for protection in a carnauba spray wax vs a polymer based, there seem to be plenty of polymer based spray waxes containing carnauba.
Whether that means the same protection or not, is not deal breaker.
I just want to try a carnauba based spray wax on my details and see how it goes.

Re: Recommend a Good Carnauba Spray Wax: Gallon Size

I recently purchased Trifecta from Richard at the Gloss Shop, I am very pleased with how well it works as a spray wax. The next day the paint was even smoother. 2 oz. in a 32 oz sprayer and used about an ounce maybe an oz and a half. I also used it as a rinseless wash, performed great, but my vehicles never get really dirty.

The day after I was on a fairly dusty job site (construction) and my vehicle was less dusty then I would have though it would be.

This is a very good product.

Re: Recommend a Good Carnauba Spray Wax: Gallon Size

I got a sample of the pinnacle spray wax. WOW. Impressive shine and protection. I currently am using griots after every wash and have no complaints. I have a new bottle of megs shine as you dry to try out after that. Currently with this method my LSP (DP POLI COAT PAINT SEALANT) is really lasting!! Two that have me curious are..
    1. Blackfire spray wax. Really that good?
    2. Mckess 37. Their line never let me down, so i assume it is good?
