    Polish Angel Viking Spritz chunky?

I just purchased this from autopia and have used this product once. As instructed, I shook it up. I thought I gave it a good shake.

Is this what it is supposed to look like? It looks quite the opposite of what I`d expect.

Almost looks like chunks of wax in there.

Looks more like chunky monkey then a spray wax!

I wouldn`t use that on my car. It looks like it separated. Contact Vega.

Although I took advantage of the pre-Memorial Day sale, the Viking Spritz wasn`t reduced in price.

As odd as Viking Spritz looks poured out, all PolishAngel sprays have this appearance to varying degrees, even after shaken. It does require the sprayer to be opened a little more than other products.

I just got a bottle of PA SuperSport and it`s the exact same way...is this normal? I`ve never had any PA products, so I wasn`t sure.

TrKent said that basically all PA sprays have chunks to some degree, so I`d assume that Supersport has it to some degree as well.

No worries fellas! It`s completely normal. Just like TrKent said, this is completely normal. When we received our first batch, we all thought we must have received a bad batch. A quick phone call to Polish Angel informed us everything was ok.

I was skeptical myself and tried to heat the solution to blend it together and failed. Here`s Gold Zirkon AFTER running through a double boiler:

The solution didn`t change in appearance at all.

Looks can be deceiving, because the stuff works great.

I could guess all day what the chunks are but at the end of the day it just flat out works.

    Thanks, Vega!

The chunks must be super secret morsels of silica and titanium dioxide mixed with carnauba and montan coated with triglycerides and space age polymers.

Yes, it looks quite nice on the car. It has really enhanced my 22PLE gloss.

So far, I`d have to give this product a thumbs up!

Re: Polish Angel Viking Spritz chunky?

I hate to ruin the fun of speculation on secret product ingredients, but the chunks are simply carnauba flakes. In the case of SuperSport, PTFE is part of the flakes. The reason that PolishAngel still uses Carnauba (alongside silica & titania) in the time when silica coatings are all the rage is to provide a wholly unique look to the finish with the warm soft tones of carnauba, the cold hard tones of silica, and the reflectiveness of titania. The product developer in Germany once described this as, `warm and cold tones in a symphony of gloss.`

Now, how Primer, Cosmic, and the hardening accelerator in Cosmic Spritz work together still seems like some kind of wizardry to me...

Presto detailer is the best I`ve ever used. Oddly, even though it sprays out chunky, it flashes quicker than many QDs I`ve used. You can literally use it as LSP.
