Ceramic coatings on Single stage paints?

Anyone ever apply a ceramic coating to laquer or enamel paint finishes?
It`s been mentioned it may cause streaking?
    Any validity?
I`ll prob try a spot on both my cars but just curious if anyone ran into any issues?

Coatings are generally designed to bond to clears. The streaking is a result of bonding and not bonding. I won`t coat any single stage car, don`t need that headache!

Not sure if it`s a true coating, but I did successfuly apply PA Viking coat to original enamel on the 75 hornet
That`s my only real world experience

No any problems with single stage paints. Coatings have universal bond to substrates.

Problems could be only as exception, imho.

But "ceramic" coating have very wide range - from eco coatings (without any effecting to paint solvents) to very reactive (with acetone or xylene, etc.). Last could affect on soft or fresh paints.

I just tested pearl nano base coating on my enamel in my 75 AMC and the laquer on my 72 Skylark..

    Both came out perfect
Btw, never realized how hard laquer is compared to enamel and even the clear coats I`ve encountered

Boss orange pad with 3D adapt did nothing
Would only take a yellow pad to make the Enamel pop

I don`t have any solvent based ceramic coatings
Im just thinking it`s the solvent based stuff that messes with single stage paints
