    Re: Asbestos undie time

Liquid glass, that brings me back. My dad was a painter back when I was a kid and he always had a can in the cabinet. I remember him using it with the cloth diapers, that were actually mine I actually used the stuff on my Oldsmobile, Neon, and old Frontier. I did always get good results. As a dummy I used old white 100% cotton t-shirts to wipe it off.

Eh, there were good cotton towels available though, some were even made in the USA too! Remember Cannon/Fieldcrest? When I was a kid, I too used better towels on the cars than I did on myself.

Keeping single stage black reasonably marring-free was an incredible challenge...got the whole Black Car thing out of my system.

Wow, those `vette guys are as hot for LG as the Camaro guys on the Camaro5 Forum are for Adam`s Polishes. I don`t even bother voicing an opinion to them. Ron: it`s a good thing you had your flame-proof undies on, you might have been sizzled, just imagine the looks you would have gotten if you`d been there in person.

I remember asking for cloth diapers for Christmas and my birthday and keeping a fresh damp one in the car to wipe off water spots from water that had come out of the hidden spots after a short drive (I even kept one rolled up inside my gas filler door to catch drops of gasoline when I refueled so it wouldn`t get on the paint).
