I am trying to figure out "where" the issue is at. Need to see the size.

Don`t have spinal surgery. You will end up in the same condition within 5 years. Go to a corrective chiropractor. I had a numb right leg for 5 months and was all set up to have back surgery. Started going to a chiropractor and I had feeling in leg within 3 weeks. Spend the money on actually fixing your back instead of just fusing things that are in the wrong place together.

Another don`t have spinal surgery without trying everything else first. IN 1997 I was scheduled to have my back operated on, have a herniated disk removed and have 2 fused.

I ended up reading a book by Dr John Sarno of NYU

My FIL was a Dr at NYU and suggested I see this guy. I called and he the good Dr told me he is booked for a few weeks but to read his book and if Im still in pain to keep the appointment. You know it really helped and I never saw the DR or had the surgery.

Not sure your condition so you should not listen to me on the internet, I`m just sharing my experience.

Well, my one and only coating was the DP PAINT COAT. I prepped with the DP PAINT COAT PREP. It looked and beaded really good. For about 2 months. I can get the look i am after with mammoth protection with PRIMA HYDRO MAX. Maintained with PRIMA HYDRO WAX AS YOU DRY. SIMPLE and fool proof. Have to say, i love the DP line. Have their wheel/glass coatings on. STELLAR PRODUCTS. Just that the DP PAINT COAT fell short in my eyes.

Re: Coatings vs. Standard LSP`S discussion

I had back issues for 14 years, when I had pain run down my right leg, I finally accepted I need something more than prednisone. The MRI showed I had a pinched nerve at L3, and my surgeon did a microdiscectomy. Oh yeah, while he was fixing L3, he discovered L4-5 had the same issue, and I had bone spurs and a cyst. He told my wife he had to take a little break and go back in. The operation took 2.75 hours instead of the 1.25 he thought it would take. But, 4 weeks later, I feel great and I start physical therapy today. The advice I have for anybody with back problems, get a doctor with experience, one that thinks laser surgery on your back is wrong, and one that wants to fix once with no need for surgery down the road.
I always heard that most of the time back surgery is rarely a 1 time thing. I guess my doctor heard that too, cause yesterday he said a couple times, " we want you to heal, get therapy and change your lifestyle so you don`t have back problems again"
I look forward to getting in shape and being able to put this behind me. Oh, I also started a diet, nothing fad, just cut back on food, and I figure losing that middle-aged spread would help too.
    Good luck guys!
All I have in this world is my word, and my balls and I don`t break `em for no one, you understand?"

We can all have our opinions...no need to hate. A coating is a MUST for me on a daily driver. If someone wants to wax/seal every couple months...so be it. Their time. To the haters who can`t respect others opinion...

A coworker recommended that book. Haven`t had a chance to start reading it yet.

Was over my friends house yesterday, OCd his Evo 3 years ago and seems to be beading fine, same procedure I did with my car...mine failed, his didn`t. However, he admitted he pretty much never washes his car except for the occasionally pressure wash at the local car wash, I wash mine all the time though, so for me to wash and lay a quick coat of dg105, it takes maybe 15 minutes. I had some nice beading on my car...and no spots from a hit from a field sprinkler with the DG either, just minor marks on the sealant, washed right off.

Now this is very interesting. As looks are 3rd down the line (and other than opti pro coating which should do both due to its expense of installing) this is discouraging. I am sure we are taking about fine levels of reflectivity but I would much rather have a coating last 1 year with incredible gloss shine reflectivity etc etc than 2 yrs of durability and less of gloss shine etc. I think "most" would agree (as a non-professional) that a compound / polish once a year with a reapplication of a Coating is no big deal - hence my purchases of 2 flexs, more pads than I can count and two shelves full of supplies and oh yeah about 100 towels. I guess the search for the grail continues. If Dr G was referring to other company`s coatings and not gloss coat well gloss coat will be on the car in the spring. Can you clarify Mr. Dekany.

I think you miss understood what I was saying. It should be encouraging. That is why these "coatings" lasting a couple of years not just a few months.
